Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — An 8-year-old City of Lockport girl who didn't come home after making a trip to a nearby store has been reunited with her family.
Lockport Police and the Niagara County Sheriff's Department were on the lookout for the girl, who was reported missing around 5 p.m.
The girl, whose name is being withheld by the US&J because of her age, reportedly had left her Niagara Street home to go to the corner store around 4:10 p.m. and had not returned.
She was reported to have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and likes to take walks, frequently visiting stores.
The girl was located at a nearby plaza.
