ALCOHOL TO MINOR: Timothy R. Thomas, 18, 6103 Strauss Road, Apt. G, was charged Thursday with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and unlawfully possessing alcohol, and possession of stolen property. A report said Niagara County sheriff’s deputies responded to Strauss Road for a 16-year-old Niagara Falls girl who was unconscious. Police said the teen was found passed out on the floor of the resident’s bedroom when they arrived. The unconscious teen was transported by family members to Eastern Niagara Hospital-Lockport for treatment. Thomas reportedly told police he and the 16-year-old were drinking alcohol he purchased from an unknown third person on East Avenue. Thomas also reportedly told deputies he got to East Avenue by means of a bicycle he stole from his apartment complex. Thomas was remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $500 bail. He is due Tuesday in Lockport Town Court.

Upon search of Kalin, deputies reportedly found $20 worth of marijuana in his possession. Kalin first told deputies he was 15 years old, but an investigation found he was 16. Kalin is scheduled Tuesday for Porter Town Court.

A report said the Balmer Road victim’s garage was unlocked when the unknown person entered and stole a lawnmower and other lawn equipment. According to deputies, two hours later, around 1:30 p.m., the Lower Mountain Road resident told deputies that $4,450 in tools were stolen. The suspect apparently entered his garage through a window. Deputies said they think the same suspect is involved in both burglaries. If found, the suspect could face charges of burglary, grand and petit larceny, and criminal mischief.
