One teen was arrested and 12 others were listed as “persons of interest” at a underage drinking party at 2 a.m. Friday on Ernest Road.
John Edgar McIntosh, 18, 5453 Ernest Road, was charged with giving/selling alcohol to persons under 21.
During an investigation of a missing person report, the Niagara County Sheriffs Office was advised of a drinking party on Ernest Road. The officers could hear music and see lights on inside the residence at the time of arrival. After officers knocked on the door, the occupants of the residence turned off the music and the lights and refused to answer the door, the report said.
Officers requested communications contact the registered owners in an attempt to persuade the occupants to come out. McIntosh came out of the house to speak with officers. According to report, McIntosh was unwilling to have the other people come outside and was arrested for unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree.
He was issued an appearance ticket ordering him to appear Sept. 15 in the Town of Lockport Court. The intoxicated persons were advised to not drive and juveniles on location were transported to appropriate residences. All had Lockport addresses, and their ages ranged from 16 to 18.
A 16-year-old missing person, who was intoxicated, was located walking home on Lincoln Avenue. He allegedly drank approximately eight beers at a friend's house on Ernest Road.
