Page 1 Valentine entries sought

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — The Union-Sun & Journal is once again seeking candidates for our Page 1 Valentine contest. The contest is open to high school students, both boys and girls, in the US&J’s circulation area. To enter, email or bring in a wallet-size photo of yourself and include a paragraph or two telling us a little bit about yourself, your interests, future plans and contact information. Drop it off at our office at 170 East Ave. or email to anne.calos@lockportjournal.com. Attach a color photo in a jpeg format. Mailed photos may be picked up at the US&J after the contest. Entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. Feb. 4. A panel of judges will choose the male and female finalists. Finalists’ photos, along with short biographies, will be published Feb. 6. A ballot will also be published Feb. 6 and on later dates so readers can choose their favorites. You may enter as many times as you wish, but only originals ballots will be accepted. All ballots must be received by noon Feb. 11, and the winners will be announced on Valentine’s Day, of course.
