LOCKPORT — Lockport City School residents won’t have to make much of a decision with next month’s Board of Education election.
Wednesday’s deadline for filing petitions to run passed with only three doing so. Current BOE President John Linderman and Trustee Thomas Fiegl filed as did resident Kevin Pratt. Incumbent Trustee James Gugliuzza did not file a petition to run.
There are three school board seats up for election, each is a three-year term. Residents will vote May 15 for school board and on the budget as well.
