CHARGED:

Marquis J. Caliz, 22, 41 Lori Lane, Gates was charged with two counts of criminal contempt, false personation and aggravated unlicensed operation Thursday. The police responded to Washburn Street for a possible violation of an order of protection at 12:57 a.m. According to the report, Caliz sped away and turned on High Street. Caliz said he did not have identification with him. He gave two false names. His identity was found on his person. Caliz has suspensions on his license from four separate dates. 

DWI:

Kenesha C. Hamilton, 33, 54 Trowbridge St. was charged with driving while intoxicated, unsafe lane change, failure to keep right and no inspection Wednesday. The police responded to an accident on Locust Street at 3:21 a.m. According to the report, Hamilton hit a telephone pole. The police detected an odor of alcoholic beverage, slurred speech and glassy eyes. She failed field sobriety tests. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as “Matt” fled the scene prior the the police arrival.

FIREWORKS:

 Raymond E. Renouf III, 25, 104 Washington St. was charged with unlawful dealing with fireworks and a pedestrian violation Wednesday. The police responded to the report of fireworks at 12:05 a.m. on Washington Street. According to the report, Renouf was standing in the middle of Washington and Allen Street. He was found with fireworks.

WARRANT EXCUTION:

Jennifer N. Niesser, 25, 6487 Dysinger Road, Apt. 12 was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation Wednesday. The sheriff’s patrol was dispatched to execute a warrant on Niesser for the Lewiston Police Department. 

Porter

MARIJUANA: Eric D. Banks, 35, 2827 Lockport Road, Sanborn was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Wednesday. According to the report, the sheriff’s patrol observed a vehicle driving on the grass at the Porter on the Lake park. Banks said he was unloading items. The patrol could smell the odor of marijuana and Banks revealed small remains of a marijuana joint. A plastic type container with what appeared to be marijuana fell from Banks’ shorts. More suspected marijuana and a wooden marijuana grinder were also found, with a small zippered bag containing a digital scale and small plastic baggies. Banks was issued an appearance ticket.
