Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — The Niagara County District Attorney's charged a Barker man with second-degree grand larceny Tuesday after an investigation of a theft of $150,000.
Kenneth C. Heitzenrater, 50, 1406 Hartland Road was arraigned in front of Newfane Town Justice Barnes. Sheriff James Voutour announced the arrest.
The DA's office reported that a large amount of money has been removed from the bank accounts of an 89-year-old Quaker Road man on April 13. A full order of protection was issued at the time of the arraignment.
Heitzenrater was released on his own recognizance. He faces a July 12 court date in the Somerset Town Court
