Roy-Hart dominates boys all-League swm meet

AKRON — Undefeated (10-0) regular-season champion Royalton-Hartland dominated the competition Tuesday taking first place in all 11 events at the 2012 Niagara-Orleans League boys individual swim championships.

The Rams were led by a trio of individual event double winners as Jason Beabout took the 100 and 200-yard freestyles, Josh Beabout the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle and Lyle Wagner the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Josh Beabout’s time of 4:48.96 in the 500 set a new league record.

Kurtis Parker also captured the 100 breaststroke and Zach Yates the 50 free for the Rams.

Roy-Hart also swept the meet’s three relays as Yates, Parker, Josh Beabout and Patrick Jones took the 200 medley; Patrick Jones, Luke Brauer, Cody Jones and Jason Beabout the 200 free and Josh Beabout, Roy Phipps, Yates and Jason Beabout the 400 free.

Ken East 4.5, Lockport 2.5

TOWN OF TONAWANDA — Russ Williams rolled a 231-654 for the Bulldogs (5-9 NFL), while Matt Notaro added a 214-623.

Tyler Laubacker’s 259-657 led the Lions (8-6 NFL), while David Poole shot a 218-628. Ken East won the pin count, 3,517 to 3,469.

N-W 6, Grand Island 1

Matt Passero shot a 256-655 for the Falcons (11-3 NFL).

Quinn Corao had a 243-697 for the Vikings (3-10 NFL).

N. Falls 7, Lew-Port 0

Justin White shot a 245-661 for the Wolverines (10-4 NFL) while Steve Conklin rolled a 259-620. Tyler Roskwitalski’s 247-644 led the Lancers (1-12 NFL), who lost on pin count, 3,476-3,203.

Ken West 6, NT 1

Rob Ricketts helped the winners with a 247-673. The Blue Devils (11-3) tied Niagara-Wheatfield for the NFL crown.

Kyle Behr rolled a 234-646 while Peter Wozniak shot a 217-631 for the Lumberjacks (6-8 NFL),

Lockport 4, Ken East 3

TOWN OF TONAWANDA — MacKenzie MacFarlane rolled a 196-542 for the Lions (7-7 NFL), while Brittany Wright added a 185-535. Megan Michaels’ 204-539 led Ken East (4-10 NFL) while Katie Loss shot a 187-509 in the 2,944-2,877 loss.

NT 6, Ken West 1

Hannah Mosher rolled a 234 high game and a 687 series for the Lady Jacks (13-1 NFL), who won a share of the NFL title along with Niagara Falls with a 6-1 win over Kenmore West.

Agelina Aquilina rolled a 212-574 for the Lady Jacks, while Jill Philips added a 195-544.

N-W 6, Grand Island 1

Taylor Klis had a 193-507 for the Lady Falcons (9-5 NFL). Aurora Dee rolled a 213-549 for the Lady Vikings (0-14 NFL).

N. Falls 6, Lew-Port 1

Staci Biondi rolled a 225-602 for Niagara Falls (13-1 NFL). .

Veronica Flynn shot a 213-575 for the Lady Lancers (7-7 NFL).
