Police blotter items published Feb. 24, 2012

City of Lockport

HARASSMENT: Jamie Iorio, 53, 195 Locust St. Apt. C was charged with second-degree harassment and two counts of second-degree criminal contempt Thursday. On Jan. 9, Iorio allegedly threatened the victim. This was an ongoing problem, according to the report, and there is order of protection against Iorio. The police took an additional statement against Iorio for sending messages on Jan. 21. On Wednesday, Iorio was arrested at his home on warrants.

Town of Lockport

AUTO STRIPPING: A Lincoln Avenue resident reported that a $700 navigation/radio and $300 I-Pod were taken from his parked Ford Explorer sometime overnight Thursday. Lockport Police detained several subjects overnight that were found in possession of electronic equipment, but none of the suspected stolen property seized by the police belonged to the Lincoln Avenue victim.
