MARIJUANA: Deon M. Gill, 16, 289 North Transit St. Apt. 2 was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of stolen property Monday. While being booked on a separate case involving a burglary in the Town of Lockport, the Lockport police found Gill in possession of marijuana. Gill had a backpack with several items reported stolen, including a $200 iPod and $80 in cash. Gill is currently on probation and scheduled to appear in Niagara County Family Court on May 22.
CHARGED: Edward R. Cintron, 53, 255 Washington St. Apt. 3 was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree attempted assault Monday. The police responded to a 911 call for a domestic incident. According to the report, the Cintron hit the victim over the head with glass bottle. The victim was bleeding and the Lockport Fire Department was called to the scene.

DOG MISSING: A Purdy Road resident reported that his American Stratford Terrier, valued at $2,000, was taken from his yard Monday afternoon sometime between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. “Debo” was on a run leash. The leash was left in the yard and found not damaged.
