ROBBERY: A tenant of an apartment complex in the 6300 block of Robinson Road complained her apartment was broken into sometime between 1 and 8 p.m. Thursday. According to Niagara County sheriff’s deputies, the front door of the apartment was forced open and the door frame was damaged. The tenant reported about $850 in items were taken, including bottles of the prescription drugs hydrocodone, Lexapro and Xantac, worth $450 together, a Samsung prepaid phone, two DVDs, cash and miscellaneous food.
HARASSMENT: Kaylum D. Elder, 17, 165 Landon St., Buffalo, was charged with second-degree harassment late Wednesday. According to sheriff’s deputies, Elder threw a chair at a Wyndham Lawn Children’s Home staff member who tried to restore order after a fight among several female students. Elder was held at Niagara County Jail on $100 bail pending a Thursday appearance in Town Court.
