CHARGED: Man pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary

A Newfane man was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment and 5 years post release supervision Monday in Judge Sara S. Sperrazza’s Niagara County courtroom.

Nathaniel J. Wagner, 21, 6394 Rounds Road, Newfane was indicted on four counts of house burglary, but pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary of an incident that happened in Royalton in June, Assistant District Attorney Brian Seaman said.

“It was our plea deal that the defendant plea guilty to the highest count,” Seaman said of the Royalton burglary.

In yet another incident Wagner was arrest last Wednesday by the sheriff’s deputies with fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny.

Seaman said the larcenies took place on two spearate dates and involved withdrawls totalling $503 from a female victim’s bank account.

A search of the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Web site where arrests and incidents are reported, did not result in a report of either of these incidents Seaman mentioned when the Union-Sun checked Monday.
