BLOTTER: Police reports published Dec. 3

Town of Lockport

• BURGLARY: Andrew B. Hodur, 21, of Birchwood Drive, was arrested on felony charges of second- and third-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny after allegedly breaking into homes at the Woodlands trailer park in July. A police report said State Police Troop A in Batavia teamed up with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office for the investigation. The suspect was arraigned before Town of Lockport Judge Leonard Tilney and was remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail. Hodur is scheduled back in court at 2 p.m. today.

Newfane

• MISSING PERSON: On Tuesday, a Lake Road, Burt, woman reported to Niagara County Sheriff’s Office that a juvenile detainee at Orchard House allegedly escaped the facility. The report said the subject was last seen wearing a dark blue jumpsuit, orange T-shirt, white socks and no shoes. The juvenile is a white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. Deputies contacted the K-9 unit to search for the missing person. During the search, officers were contacted by a man who said he saw a suspicious youth on Beebe Road. The youth was allegedly given a ride to an unknown location by a Beebe Road resident to New Road, where the former Dorwood Store was located. Officers said they contacted the resident, who denied any knowledge of the drop-off and when deputies searched the home, they found nothing. The report said it was evident that the juvenile made the escape with help from friends and family. An investigation is under way.

Town of Niagara

• CHARGED: Timothy J. Buncy, 57, Balmer Road, Youngstown, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and failure to keep right. Police pulled Buncy over in a traffic stop Tuesday for alleged failure to keep right and said he appeared to be intoxicated, according to the report. When asked if he was drinking, the suspect reportedly denied it, however he allegedly admitted to having illegal drugs in his vehicle. Police said they found a substance that tested positive for cocaine. Buncy is due Dec. 21 in Niagara Town Court.
