Upon arrival, she found her home ransacked, with a total of $6,000 worth of items missing, according to the report. Police said that upon further investigation, they learned that Johnson stole a car from Clinton Street in Lockport. The car was recovered in Rochester with the stolen items from his previous victim’s apartment, according to police reports. Johnson was taken to Monroe County Jail.

• WANTED: Two men are accused of stealing a fundraising jar from a city restaurant. Arrested on petit larceny charges Wednesday were Joshua D. Cooney, 21, 131 Gooding St., and Logan Gillon, no address provided. Police responded to a call at Molinaro’s Restaurant on Walnut Street.
