• MARIJUANA: Sean Stubbs, 22, 84 Ransom St., was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Police saw Stubbs driving southbound on Hawley Street and noticed his license plate was covered by the plate-holder. When officers pulled Stubbs over, they found his license had been suspended and his vehicle wasn’t inspected, the report said. The police report said Stubbs admitted to having marijuana in his front right pocket, where police found a plastic bag with suspected marijuana.

• LOST PROPERTY: A shopper turned over a lost wedding band to city police on Wednesday. The ring, which appears to be made for a man, was found in the parking lot of BJ’s Wholesale on Young Street and contains an inscription with the couple’s initials and 1965 wedding date. Anyone with information or the potential owner should call the police station at 692-2121.
