HARASSMENT: John R. Platt, 24, 163 South Street, Apt. 1, was charged Sunday for second-degree aggravated harassment. According to the report, Platt had contacted an Ohio Street residence and told the two parties living there that he wanted to come and pick up his son. The victim said he was advised Platt that his visitation weekend was the previous weekend and that the child was with his great-grandparents for the weekend. The victim said Platt became upset and started yelling, “I’m going to cut you and stab you” and used slurs against the victim. The victim then hung up the phone. Police made contact with Platt using the number supplied by the victim. He was arrested without incident and is scheduled to appear today in City Court.

DWI: Warren M. Disaviero, 49, 6289 Robinson Road, Lockport was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding .08 of one percent, and a traffic violation. According to the report, a Niagara County Sheriff’s patrol observed a vehicle swerving from side to side on Campbell Boulevard. At the ensuing traffic stop, the patrol observed that Disaviero emitted a strong odor of alcohol, had glassy eyes and was slurring his speech. He told police that he had “a few beers and some chicken fingers” before failing several field sobriety tests and a breath screening test. A later breath analysis test showed Disaviero had a blood alcohol content of .14 of one percent. He is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Pendleton Town Court.
