Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Drug Task Force makes two arrests on Ontario Street
The Niagara County Drug Task Force executed a warrant at 9:55 p.m. on Thursday at 256 Ontario Street and arrested two Lockport men on drug-related charges.
Joseph A. Zavarella, 48, 256 Ontario St. was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Jonathan M. Turquist, 33, 1161 East and West Ave. Apt. S was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
According to the report, quantities of off-white substance and marijuana were found and seized at Zavarella’s apartment. The substances field tested positive for cocaine and heroin.
Turquist was found with cocaine in his possession.
