Lockport

Ashley M. Shackelford, 30, 84 Erie St., Apt. 2 was charged with petit larceny, false personation and criminal possession of stolen property Wednesday. According to the report, Shackelford took $80 from the victim’s wallet and left with another person. She gave a fictitious name when stopped by police in an attempt to evade outstanding warrants. The $80 was found under the car seat and returned to the victim.

Gasport

BURGLARY: A cash register, valued at $300, and $200 in cash were reported stolen from Becker Farms on Quaker Road on Monday or Tuesday. A Pepsi machine was also damaged. According to the report, the owner locked the farm market at 6:30 p.m. on Monday and returned at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.  A window appeared to be pried open and a newly installed Pepsi machine was moved.

Newfane

BURGLARY: A Prospect Street couple returned from vacation Tuesday and found items totaling $6,643 were taken. Missing items included a $5,000 antique ring, a $500 gold ring, a $900 oval cocktail ring and a gold necklace. There were pry marks on the locked bedroom door. An investigation and continuing the sheriff’s department is following up leads.
