Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man wanted for an armed robbery at CVS Pharmacy in the Town of Cambria.
A press release from Sheriff James R. Voutour said an unknown white man wearing a ski mask approached CVS at about 7:50 p.m. Thursday night with a black hand gun. The man showed the gun to a pharmacist and demanded prescription drugs before fleeing the area in a black mid-sized sports utility vehicle.
The medication that was taken included Opana and Dilaudid pills, totaling $2,706. CVS is located at 2956 Saunders Settlement Road in Sanborn.
The white man was described by witnesses as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches with a thin build. The man was wearing blue pants, a gray V-neck fleece sweater and a red shirt underneath the sweater.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for people with any information to contact the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Invertigator Jeffrey Pytlik at 438-3336.
