BLOTTER: Police reports published Jan. 27


City of Lockport

DRUGS: A Lockport woman and a Buffalo resident were arrested on drug charges after a search warrant was executed by the Niagara County Drug Task Force. Police searched the residence of Lisa M. Kessler, 20, 185 Monroe St. Both Kessler and Odarious A. Hamilton, 21, 185 Rodney Ave., Apt. 2, Buffalo, were charged Monday with third- and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. Officials found and seized a quantity of cocaine and $573, police said.

Somerset

LARCENY: A Carmen Road resident told police Sunday that a child’s car seat and umbrella stroller, together worth $175, were taken from his property.

Wilson

LARCENY: The total in damage and missing items was set at nearly $3,500 in a larceny reported by a Dorwood Park resident who was out of town when the items went missing. The report said the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office may have a person of interest, but no arrests can be made until the investigation is complete.

Olcott

LARCENY: A Collard Avenue man reported his pain medicine may have been stolen. He said his prescription was low, so he called the pharmacy to have his hydrocodone refilled, but was told he was not due for a refill. He then told deputies he thought 72 pills were taken by a woman who was staying with him at his residence. The woman denied taking the pills, according to a report.

LARCENY: A Lockport-Olcott Road woman called the sheriff’s office Sunday after her prescription pain medication reportedly was missing. Her Ambien, hydrocodone and other medication was valued at $229.63.

Pendleton

FRAUD: A Beach Ridge Road man reported identity theft Monday when he noticed an unknown person used his account to make a purchase at vbulletin.com.

MISCHIEF: About $500 in damages was reported after an unknown vehicle struck the front porch of a Beach Ridge Road resident. A sheriff’s report said the vehicle was headed southbound on Wheatfield-Pendleton Townline Road when it went out of control.

Gasport

LARCENY: A Slayton Settlement Road resident reported to deputies Tuesday that two purses were stolen from her vehicle, The purses and contents were valued at $2,483.

LARCENY About $500 worth of short steel was reportedly stolen from Ridge Road Express. Deputies said the complainant was reviewing a security tape that showed two unknown individuals load the steel into a white truck and drive off.

Newfane

MENACING: Adam L. Allen, 16, 6202 Dale Road, was charged with second-degree menacing. Deputies were dispatched to Bayview Station, where they spoke with the victim and a witness who said that while they were walking home, Allen started causing trouble with them. According to the report, when the witness confronted the suspect, Allen gave her the middle finger and said if she did not stop talking, he would slit her throat, as he pulled out a knife. An order of protection was requested against Allen.
