CHARGED:

Issac A. McDonald, 28, 128 24th St., Apt. 2, Niagara Falls was charged with false personation Thursday. Police responded to Washburn Street at 11:55 p.m. for the report of gun shots. There was no evidence of gun fire, but McDonald was seen leaving the area. According to the report, he gave a fictitious name to police because he is a registered sex offender.

MARIJUANA:

Michael R. Venne, 25, 5996 Redwood Lane, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana Thursday. About 11 p.m. the Lockport-Olcott Road deputies observed a man dressed in dark clothing walk towards the rear of a closed business. Due to frequent criminal mischief and larcenies reported at the business, deputies wanted to question the man. The suspect walked at a fast pace in front of a residence. According to the report, Venne was sweating profusely and was having a hard time maintaining balance. His speech was slow and his pupils were dilated. Venne said he had snorted hydrocodone pills prior to walking home and had marijuana in his pocket. The deputies found the marijuana, Xanax and Suboxone.

Town of Niagara

HARASSMENT: Donald J. Brown, 51, 314 78th St., was charged with second-degree harassment, physical contact Friday. The sheriff’s patrol responded to Lockport Road for the report of a domestic incident. According to the report, a witness was attempting to intervene in the physical domestic and tried to pull Brown off the victim. Brown allegedly punched the woman in the face with a closed fist. Brown was remanded to the Niagara County Correctional Facility on $500 bail.
