City of Lockport
CHARGED: Jacob S. Ruhl, 21, 115 South St. Apt. 3 was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property Monday. According to the report, Ruhl withdrew $163 from the victim’s account without authorization on June 21 and was arrested after   an investigation.
CONTEMPT: Willie B. Sanders, 23, 288 Washington St., Apt. 3 was charged with second-degree criminal contempt Monday. According to the report Sanders violated an active order of protection when he knocked on the door of a Waterman Street house at 4:20 a.m. on Saturday. 
HARASSMENT: Allen J. Tomaino, 24, 41 Cave St. upper was charged with second-degree harassment Monday. According to the report, Tomaino   cursed and spat at a National Fuel Gas Employee who was dispatched to his house to shut off power on June 18. Tomaino turned himself in at police headquarters.

DWI: Andrew T. Cena, 23, 57 Webb St. was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right Sunday. The sheriff’s patrol observed a vehicle stopped at a stop sign at Dorchester and South Transit at 2:52 a.m. and not proceeding. The vehicle then drove northbound and failed to keep right. Cena was stopped at the Lockport Plaza. According to the report, Cena’s speech was slurred, there was an odor of an alcoholic beverage and his eyes were glassed over. He failed field sobriety tests and registered .22 percent blood alcohol content.
DWI: William S. Printup Jr., 23, 6362 Robinson Road was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. The sheriff’s patrol observed a Pontiac Vibe cross the center line on Robinson Road on Sunday. According to the report, there was an odor of alcoholic beverage. Printup had glassy eyes, his pupils were dilated and his speech was slurred. He failed field sobriety tests. Printup refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of his blood. He was remanded to the custody of the Niagara County Jail and held in lieu of $250 police bail.
