BLOTTER: Police reports published March 9
City of Lockport
HARASSMENT: Patricia A. Lawrence, 35, 6632 Royal Parkway North was charged Monday with second-degree aggravated harassment. A caller told police that the suspect called and threatened her several times. An order of protection was issued against the defendant.
BURGLARY: Joshua M. McGovern, 23, 346 Brookside Village Trailer Park, was charged Monday with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny. Police were dispatched to High Street, where a resident told officers someone entered his home without permission last month and stole an estimated $1,150 worth of items, including an antique revolver from the Korean War.
Town of Lockport
DWI: State Police charged two Lockport residents with driving while intoxicated Sunday. Kelly M. Coulson, 47, of Park Lane, was charged with aggravated DWI. A report said she had a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent. Chad M. Gross, 28, of Park Avenue, also was charged with DWI and had a 0.14 percent blood alcohol content, according to a police report.
DRUGS: Thomas N. Sullivan, 20, of South Quaker Road, Gasport, was charged Friday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. A police report said troopers saw the suspect traveling on Gasport Road in the Town of Royalton with an inadequate license plate light. Upon interviewing the driver, troopers reportedly saw a prescription bottle that did not belong to Sullivan in plain view that contained Darvocet tablets. An additional bottle containing marijuana was found in the vehicle, troopers said.
Newfane
LARCENY: A Lockport-Olcott Road resident told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies Monday that a number of items were stolen from her unlocked vehicle. Missing items included a handicap parking tag, a Tops gift card, a car seat and $15 in cash.
DWI: Troopers charged three people in Newfane this weekend with driving while intoxicated. Anthony M. Vitale, 29, of Montfort Drive, Cheektowaga, was charged with one count of DWI on Main Street. Dennis R. Kirkland, 57, of LaSalle Avenue, Niagara Falls, was charged with aggravated DWI with a child passenger. Kirkland reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent. Kerry J. Stark, 41, of Bright Street, Lockport, was charged with DWI on Lockport-Olcott Road, and police said the suspect had a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content.

Witness’ credibility questioned in Greco murder case
The defense attorney in the case against Anthony J. Allen — accused of murdering a group counselor on East Avenue last year — has until Aug. 23 to prove the prosecution’s expert witness is not a credible source.

Five indicted in casino fraud case
A federal grand jury has indicted five people on bank fraud-related charges involving thefts from casino-based ATMs, including some at Seneca Nation operations in Niagara Falls and elsewhere.
Charged in the four-count indictment are Jia Ming Huang, Rungen Huang, Zhen Qiang Liang, Chang Keng Zheng aka Yu Zheng and Siu S. Cheng. All the defendants live in either New York or Florida. - Police blotter published July 27, 2010

2 burglaries reported at Royalton Airport
Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of an alleged burglary and attempted burglary at the Royalton Airport on Mackey Road on Sunday and Monday.
