City of Lockport
GRAND LARCENY: Harlin Electric of Carlisle, Pa., which rents space at 109 Heath St., reported sometime between Feb. 24 and Feb. 28 someone stole a bolt cutter off one of their trucks and cut the lock of a metal storage container. The thieves took eight rolls of copper valued at $1,500 and copper valued at $500 from bins. The bolt cutter was valued at $150.
PETIT LARCENY: Harry C. Erickson, 31, 46 Waterman St., Apt. 6, was charged Saturday with petit larceny. The victim reported he gave a man $110 for an XBox 360 on Feb. 7. The man gave a fictitious name, address and phone number. The victim did not get the video game system. The arrest was made at the police station.

GRAND LARCENY: On Friday, a Pennsylvania man reported that sometime in mid-December his red 1998 Shawdowmaster enclosed trailer was taken from his work site at 6623 Charlottesville Road. The trailer was not reported stolen at that time. This week, some of his workers who live in the area saw a trailer matching the description parked on Dysinger Road. Someone tried to sell the trailer, but did not have the title. Also taken were various tools and construction equipment and three ladders that were attached to the top of the trailer. The estimated the cost of the trailer with its contents is approximately $5,000. The owner was given permission to take his trailer and the contents back to Pennsylvania.

GRAND LARCENY: A Lewiston woman reported Friday that her wallet containing credit cards and a driver’s license was taken from her purse Thursday while she was in the computer lab in the Niagara County Community College library. The victim canceled her credit card and was issued a form for her license.

CHARGED: Kevin A. Schlitz, 17, 3473 Stevenson Court, North Tonawanda, was charged Friday with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Niagara County sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop after seeing a vehicle driving erratically east on Captains Way. According to the report, the vehicle nearly hit three children playing near the roadway where there is a posted speed limit of 15 mph. Deputies detected an odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a clear plastic baggy containing marijuana under the driver’s seat and a clear plastic baggy containing 19 green pills, identified as Klonopin. The patrol also found one glass pipe in the center console. Schlitz is being held in lieu of $500. Two passengers in his vehicle who were driven home.

WARRANT: Kayla R. Porter, 19, 1808 Coomer Road, Burt, was arrested Friday on a Feb. 15 warrant for second-degree aggravated harassment and first-degree criminal contempt. She was held for court.
Sanborn
DWI: Jennifer M. Kroening, 24, 6207 Walmore Road, Sanborn, was charged at 3 a.m. Saturday with DWI and speeding after police pulled her over at Ward and Ruie roads. Her blood alcohol content was measured at 0.15 percent following a breath test. Kroening was released on her own recognizence.
