UNDERCOVER: Robert T. Brant, 29, 1410 Robinson Court, Niagara Falls, was charged Friday with third-degree sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. Brant was arrested after allegedly selling a quantity of a white powder to an undercover agent at 3:42 p.m. Friday on Niagara Street. Police said the powder tested positive for cocaine.

ASSAULT: Charity L. Nixon, 21, 129 Lock St., lower, was charged Friday with second-degree assault and second-degree menacing. Officers responded to Eastern Niagara Hospital-Lockport for a report of an assault. The victim said that during an argument on Gooding Street, Nixon became angry and stabbed him several times with scissors.
