Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Three brothers and another man with all charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration and disorderly conduct early Saturday after Lockport Police responded to a report of two males fighting in the parking lot outside of Lock 34.
Andrew J. David, 23; Christopher M. David, 25; and Carl D. David, 26; all of 6593 N. Royal Pkwy., will all appear Monday in City Court following their alleged roles in either the fight or interference with the police response.
According to Lock 34 manager Chris Knapp, two men were kicked out of the establishment after a brief scuffle that escalated once they had left the building. Knapp said that neither man had been at the bar for longer than 20 minutes.
"Our staff defused the situation, but once they were in the parking lot, it was out of our control," Knapp said.
According to the police report, Andrew David was one of the parties involved in the fight and after speaking with the investigating officer he was to be arrested.
David’s two brothers, Christopher and Carl came over to the investigating officer and attempted to interfere with the arrest of Andrew, the report said, adding that all three men were impaired by alcohol.
Andrew then began to resist and was taken to the ground. He continued to struggle and police deployed pepper spray on all three brothers. Andrew was subsequently Tazered after he showed no effect from the pepper spray. All three were then transported to LPD.
Gailor, reported to be impaired by alcohol, allegedly yelled and sweared at police, and then refused to leave the area when ordered to do so by the responding officer.
He further resisted arrest and after a brief struggle was taken into custody. Gailor is scheduled to appear Monday in City Court.
