Lockport Main Street Inc. will host an informational meeting for all downtown Lockport businesses and merchants Sept. 16.
Program Manager Heather Peck will lead discussion of upcoming promotional opportunities and events including: A downtown Web site and directory; Halloween displays and promotions; a holiday gift certificate program; cooperative advertising opportunities; and upcoming events.
The same meeting will be held twice, at 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Attendees are invited to choose whichever time is most convenient. The meetings will be held at the Lockport Main Street office, Historic Post Office, 1 East Ave., first floor.

Lockport Main Street Inc. operates under guidelines established by the National Trust For Historic Preservation. Its purpose is to get merchants/businesspeople, city officials and volunteers working together on improving downtown.
